Philosophy

As human beings, we are a part of the world around us and all that happens to it. For this reason it is imperative that we be aware of cause and effect; of positive actions that can make a difference. Our culture ultimately comes from our agriculture. In other words, who and what we are is in many ways derived from what we eat and the way we obtain our food from the soil. But food production methods are far removed from the average consumer, and if the facts were more widely known, worldwide revulsion and rejection of agricultural models would surely result. The heartbreak is that people are caught in a vicious cycle of virtual addiction to the appearance, taste, and convenience of processed and fast foods that are not only high in harmful substances and low in nutrition but perpetuate detrimental agricultural methods. In pursuit of our mission to initiate positive actions, we seek to offer products that people need and want and that have beneficial effects upon our bodies and our surroundings. An emphasis on organic production is the baseline-healthy food for people, produced in a way that is healthy for the land. But we want to go further and help reverse the damage that has been done. We anticipate that the earth can regenerate itself if given a chance. It is our belief that the knowledge of the past coupled with a vision for the future can open our eyes to methods and techniques that are ever more efficient yet effective. We have placed our foot on the path, and we hope to be a part of a great awakening of this mission and to fulfill our role as stewards of this wonderful gift that is our Earth.
